To create a specific response on a distribution list you need to do the follow
Log on to the CMP
Go to the organization - > My Services -> Microsoft Exchange
Go to Distribution Lists
Click Actions, Edit on the distribution list you want to allow automatic reply on.
Check "Allow out of office"
NOTE: If out of office is configured on a user that is part of this distribution list it will also be sent out.
Now you need to setup the automatic reply within in Exchange.
Create a new user (e.i noreply@.....)
Add exchange to the user, needs to have a standard subscription.
Configure the account in Outlook.
Go to Rules -> Manage Rules & Alerts
Click new rule
Mark "Apply rule on messages I receive
Check "to people or public group"
Click on People or public group at the bottom box and choose the distribution list
Click Next
Check "have server reply using a specific message"
Click on " a specific message in the bottom box.
Write the message (Do not add any address in To,cc or Bcc field)
Click save & close
Click Next
Choose any exception you may want.
Click Finnish
Now it is configured.
Every time a mail is sent to the distribution list the noreply@... account will send out a automatic reply with the text you have configured.
